Mommy's Vacation

Mommy went on a vacation with her mommy for a couple days. She said she would bring back presents and made daddy promise to let us sleep in the big bed while she was gone. She gave us a special goodbye dinner with gravy on our kibble, but it made us poot a lot more than usual. We will miss her, so I decided to post some cute pics she can look at if she can look at the internets when she is gone.

Naptime

My little brother makes a nice warm blanket. His butt is as noisy as mine though, so when we nap mom says its like a symphony of sounds and smells. We make booty-ful music together.

Tragedy! Dad realized that when he took some videos of us when we first met that he didn't have his little card-thingie in it so it didn't record! Oh well, he got some other recordings I hope to post soon.

Leroy's first stolen sock! He found it in a clothesbasket left on the floor. Very smart to spot that! He even shook it! I taught him how to play tug of war with it before mom took it away.

I love my new brother!!!

Mom and dad brought home my new baby brother today. It was love at first sight!! We played and played outside for a long time. I was gentle but I can't wait until he is older so we can be really be crazy!!

These 2 were taken by the nice lady at Boston Terrier Rescue who rescued Leroy's mom and dad. Leroy was in his mommy's tummy at the time and it sure is a good thing they were saved or Leroy might not be alive! The 1st pic is of Leroy and all his siblings!

   

Here is Leroy in his kennel. It was my kennel when I was his size. He will get a larger one when he gets a little bigger. He doesn't like it and yells really loud sometimes!!

And here is us wrestling! He's quite the little acrobat and does a lot of rolls. Most of dad's pictures came out blurry because he moves so fast!

My chores

Just because I am a dog doesn't mean I don't have certain chores that must be performed. I think SOME people overlook all the things I contribute to the household, so here is a partial list of them:

• Everytime mom and dad get out of the shower I lick the water off their feet, ankles and calves. This not only saves them time but they don't have to use a towel for these areas so the towels can be used more frequently. Its simple math people.
• Paper shredder. I also shred just about any other material. Very handy for destroying incriminating documents.
• Yard de-pooper. I may poop in the yard, but I have NO PROBLEM cleaning up after myself. Poop can be tasty and it is recycling! Mom doesn't like me helping this way, but she is just jealous of my efficiency.
• Bed warmer. Mom calls me a bed hog, but I actually keep the bed warmer by spreading out. I do.
• Alarm clock. My bladder will never let mom or dad sleep in.
• Garbage disposal. I wish mom and dad would utilize this talent more. I could not only reduce trash but reduce the amount of money they spend on kibble!
• Ear cleaner. A Q-Tip cannot compare to my tongue. Its longer, gentler, moist for loosening stubborn wax, and very fast.

Boston Benchpressing

Humans. Are. Weird.

I was goin to tell dad that benchpressing a 20-lb dog isn't going to turn him into Brad Pitt, or whoever you silly human girls drool over, but sometimes you just have to humor your human.

PLEASE note that those wet patches on dad's shirt do not come from ME. He was playing with the giant water bowl in the backyard. Thats another thing about humans that baffles me. They put a giant water bowl in the backyard and swim around in it one weekend. Then they spend 2 months trying to "get it clean enough to swim in it" again. NEVER do they drink from it. What a waste of good water.

I can't vouch for the wet patch on his pants...

Leroy

Mom and dad went to pick out my brother today. His name is Leroy and he is too little to come home but mom took a picture of him with Dad. He sure is cute. Mom says he has a nubby little tail that wags and he is a "chubby butt." He even has brindle in him like me! I can't wait to teach him to play tug of war!

Mom says Leroy is only a month old so it will be another month before he gets to come live with us. I am so excited! Mom says she will give Leroy my crate and I will get a new bigger crate since I am getting a little big for mine!

A big brother? Me?

Mom says she will go to meet the lady who will give me a brother soon. Some nice people came by Sunday and looked at our backyard to make sure it was safe for a brother. Mom says I may get a little brother, which is so exciting! I think I would be a great big brother! I could help teach him how to catch balls, and potty outside, and how to hide behind the cushion on the couch!

Mom say's it will be several weeks before I can meet my little brother, but I've waited this long, so it's OK.

Sleeping like a baby

I had a TIRING weekend. Momma Randi was here visiting and mom and dad put up a huge people pool. I like to run around the pool jumping up to peek over the edge, but I'm not too sure about being in the pool. Its too deep for me to have much fun in. Mom says she will work on making some kind of platform so that when I am in the pool I can have a place to stand. Not fair that people can stand in it and not me!

Anyway, I am pooped! (mmm poop)
